Fishing In Revelstoke National Park

Our glacier-fed rivers and lakes do not support many game fish. All streams and rivers are closed to fishing to protect bull trout, once also called Dolly Varden, an endangered species. Some eastern brook trout and cutthroat trout may be caught in Mount Revelstoke's Eva, Millar and Jade Lakes.

A bait ban and single hook rule are in effect in all waters. A national parks fishing license is required.

Licenses can be purchased at the Parks Canada office in Revelstoke (307 Third Street West). For information on regulations, download the 1999 Fishing
