Parks Canada operates all campgrounds in Jasper National
Park (a total of 10). Most national
park campgrounds do not take reservations. Campsites are available on a first
come first serve basis only.
There are 1772 sites available in Jasper National Park
during peak season with a variety of services
Wapiti Campground is the only campground in the park open
during the winter. It's located 4 km south of the townsite on the Icefields
Parkway. There are no showers but there is hot and cold running water. Fees are
$13 for a regular site and $15 for a site with electricity.
